Crash

My computers hard drive crashed this weekend, this means 85gb of music is lost and also about 50 of my own tracks. Not all of them where finished and some of them i didn't have any intentions to finish. Still it really sucks. On the upside the warranty covered it so i'll get a new hard drive in a week or so. In the mean time I won't have any programs to make music. I'm playing the piano some instead but when i get everything set up I'm gonna get started on some new tracks. Without any software to make music I found my self drawing in paint the other day so I'll just post the results of that.

An update

We've been a bit to quiet on the blog since we started it, but that dosen't meen we've been idle all together. We're all working away on our soloprojects Franz and the Cloud Study have new tracks up on their myspace pages and I'm working on some new tracks.

I've had a few things in school that kept me busy for some time but now I'm back on track. Just like Franz and Cloud Study I've started to use samples in my music. I've found two fine loops from two swedish legends, Bo Hansson and Jan Johansson that I'm buidling brand new tracks around. Hopefully I'll have them finished in a few weeks. Also I have plans on finishing a minimal and a dub track that are purely electronic without samples that have both been on ice for some time.

We don't have a jamsession planned with all of the Broken Mixer Sessions but i think we're all into having one soon. So when we have a weekend where no one has to work or study we'll probably get together and record a track.

Also I talked to Franz some today he told me that we might be playing music to a silent movie that film studion here in Lund will be showing in the fall. Franz also mentioned that Josef might be playing a festival this summer but he'll have to get back to you about that with more info.

Well thats all i have for now but I'll be back and hopefully the rest of the crew will as well.
