Britches Tape Comming Up!
Eager readers!
I, Britches (Frans Karlsson/Swahn) will try to release my demo tape next week. I've made designs for the sleeve, and begun the final mixing of the songs. The current step is to chose which song will make it to the final tape. The participants of Swedish Taste of Technology are welcome to listen to the songs and give comments. So if you reckon a song is dispensable, or perhaps essential for the tape, please let me know. I can send you the songs via the web or you can come to my place and listen or get a CDR from me.
The plan is to sell my tape at the forthcoming Liquid Sky concert. For those of you who have spent the last weeks in a skip zone, this is a trio consisting of me and the dynamic duo. We will play along 6 surrealistic movies. The time is 22 hundered september the 20th, the good ol' culture night of Lund. The place is Skissernas Museum, near the University Library. Flyers will be printed tomorrow (Saturday) and me and the D.D. would very much appreciate if you took some time to help us spread these flyers. Perhaps the good people of Munka-Ljungby are interested in avant-garde shit? Guess you get the picture... If you have any tips of cafés, clubs etc. where our flyers would enhance the surroundings, be kind post to the blog.
I hope you will all attend this once-in-a-lifetime gig. I can't guarantee that things will boil, but I most certainly hope so. Rehearsals have been both miserable and productive, so no one knows for sure how the whole thing will sound in the end... We might also be selling Liquid Sky tapes this evening, as a little memory of the venue.
Glad you spent some of your valuable time on the S.T.T. blog! Check back soon for more news on the progress in the Öresund Region!
